This application does not set, read, or transmit cookies. There are no first-party cookies. There are no third-party cookies. There are no session cookies. There are no persistent cookies. There are no tracking cookies. There are no analytics cookies. There are no advertising cookies. There are no "strictly necessary" cookies.

The `document.cookie` API is never called. No `Set-Cookie` header is sent. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.

## Local storage

The application uses your browser's `localStorage` to save reflections and memories you choose to keep, plus a few small preferences (today's mood, text size, music on/off, whether you've seen the intro). Local storage is not a cookie. It is a key-value store that lives on your device, is never transmitted to any server, and is fully under your control.

You can view, export, or delete everything stored in localStorage at any time through the application's info panel (the ℹ button).

You can also clear it through your browser's settings under "Clear browsing data" or "Site settings."

## Why this document exists

Some jurisdictions require a cookie policy to be available on all websites. This document exists to clearly state: there are no cookies. We believe an honest "none" is more useful than a missing page that leaves the question open.
